Fundraising to provide kennels for rescued and abandoned animals

Dogs Roma, Lesia, and Chapa lived in the Kherson region. Instead of kennels, they had only a pile of bricks in two rows with a piece of plywood on top. Instead of collars, they had ropes that cut into their necks and left deep scars. And there were empty bowls next to them.

З Федорівки собак евакуювали в притулок “Другий The dogs were brought to Another Dimension shelter. Today, Roma, Lesia, and Chapa are completely different. They are relaxed, well-groomed, and trusting of people again. But the animals still lack their own cozy corner.

A kennel at a shelter is a necessity for a dog, as it becomes a temporary home for an animal. It protects from rain, snow, wind, and the scorching sun. It is natural for animals to have their own sheltered space, as they look for a cozy place where they can rest. After stress or trauma, a personal corner helps animals adapt to the new environment quicker.

Therefore, we are raising money for 35 kennels for two shelters. Every day, animals from the frontline territories are rescued and brought there. They have lost their homes due to the war and have experienced separation from their people.

The following shelters will receive the kennels:

• Another Dimension (the Dnipro region) — 20 kennels are needed. Homeless animals live here, as well as dogs evacuated from frontline villages and cities;
• Druzi Space (the Donetsk region) — 15 kennels are needed. The shelter operates in a city located 20 km from the front line. They rescue both local animals and those brought in from the front line.
