Fundraising for Assistance to Border Service Dogs

We aim to equip the border service canine units with essential supplies, including medical treatments for animals, demining kits, and transport cages.

Service dogs are an irreplaceable part of Ukraine’s Border Guard units, protecting us daily. 

These animals assist in detecting explosives, clearing mines, finding hidden weapons, apprehending offenders, and even saving the lives of soldiers and civilians. However, this service comes with high risks, intense training, and the need for specialized care.

Meanwhile, Russian forces continue to shell border areas, sometimes hitting locations where defense units are positioned. When this happens, all equipment and essential supplies may be lost to fire.

To support these units, we plan to procure necessary items and equipment, including:

• Medicines and treatment supplies for the animals
• Demining kits containing sapper shovels, knives, wrenches, markers, scissors, zip ties, measuring tapes, sensors, and more
• Cages for transporting the animals

We must lend a hand, as border guards and their animals stand guard every day, defending us on multiple sectors of the frontline.
