Fundraiser for Building 50 Kennels in Shelters in Frontline Regions:

We aim to purchase and deliver 50 kennels to animal shelters in frontline regions:

• 15 kennels for the Society for the Protection of Animals in Sumy

• 5 kennels for Kitskin Dim in Zaporizhzhia

• 3 kennels for Happy Cat in Zaporizhzhia

• 10 kennels for Chance for Life in Nikopol

• 12 kennels for the Konotop Animal Shelter
• 5 kennels for Favorite Animals in Kamianske

To procure 50 kennels, we need to raise $6123.

Shelters in these frontline areas have become havens for animals evacuated from combat zones by soldiers and volunteers. While no official data exists on the number of homeless cats and dogs, it’s clear that the number of animals needing help grows daily.

The shelters continue to accept animals and are now working at the limit of their capacity, as most shelters are overcrowded. Creating additional places for animals is thus a top priority. For this reason, we want to provide shelters with kennels.

These will be warm kennels that will protect the animals from the cold and provide shelter from loud noises, as the frontline areas are under constant enemy fire. One kennel can accommodate a large dog or two medium-sized dogs.

Also, a comfortable place to stay will help the evacuated animals adapt faster after the stress, stay warm in winter, and thus avoid getting sick.
