We are raising money to buy grain, hay and straw for the animals that were rescued from the slaughterhouse and shelling.

Novyi Svit (New World) shelter is home to a horse, two cows, a calf, ten piglets, six goats, seven goats, a lamb, as well as geese, ducks and chickens. All of them were evacuated and saved from death, and now they need support.

The shelter is located in the Mykolaiv region, where the dry climate makes it impossible to provide grazing for most of the year. In summer, the green grass dries up, so it is necessary to provide grain to ensure a balanced diet.

With the money raised, we plan to buy:

  • 300 bales of hay;
  • 150 bales of straw;
  • 2 tons of barley;
  • 2 tons of wheat;
  • 2 tons of oats;
  • 2 tons of corn.

Who are we going to help?

Lamb Besha was evacuated from near Kharkiv. Besha survived a drone attack, but the left side of his head, ear and front legs were severely injured. Now Besha can walk and is gradually recovering.

Goats Heart and Snowball are sick but very affectionate.

Newborn goat Kvitochka and her mom Tamila Franzivna.

Cows Zirochka and Krasulia were bought out of a slaughterhouse. Zirochka was pregnant at the time, and the head of the shelter was there through the birth of the calf.

Now little calf Barvinok also lives in the shelter and is friends with goats, cats, dogs, and birds.

The bird community:

  • Van Dam, a duck who fights anyone who violates the boundaries of his nest;
  • Katia, a duck who flies over the fence and enters the cat house to steal food;
  • Romeo and Juliet, a pair of geese who were rescued from russian shelling.

Let’s support this wonderful community together!
