Fundraiser for the Treatment of Animals Suffering from Enteritis and Infections That Cause it

We want to provide Zoofamily shelter (Kirovohrad region) and Dream in the Palms shelter (Dnipropetrovsk region) with everything they need to treat animals suffering from enteritis. To do this, we need to raise $5,375.

💉This amount will provide serums against infections that cause enteritis:

– serums for dogs contain specific antibodies to pathogens of distemper, parvovirus, coronavirus and adenovirus infections in dogs; 

– serums for cats contain antibodies to panleukopenia, infectious rhinotracheitis, calicivirus and chlamydia.

We will also purchase antibiotics, wound healing medications, ointments, eye drops, Ringer’s solution, etc.

🏥 This fundraiser will cover things needed to care for sick animals, such as diapers, gloves, etc.

Enteritis in cats and dogs is an inflammatory bowel disease caused by infections, parasites, bacteria, or poisoning. The disease is especially dangerous for animals in shelters living in groups, as it spreads quickly and has a high mortality rate.

Puppies and kittens, who do not have a strong immune system, are most severely affected by the disease. Stray animals are vulnerable due to poor nutrition, stress, and chronic diseases.

Symptoms of enteritis include diarrhea, vomiting, fever, and dehydration, which quickly lead to death if urgent treatment of infusion and supportive therapy, antibiotic treatment, and disinfection is not started.

 Zoofamily shelter and Dream in the Palms shelter take in sick animals even when other shelters don’t. So we want to support the animals living there and buy everything they need to save lives. Join us in this cause!
