Fundraiser for a Medical Trailer for the Animal House Rescue Shelter

During the festive winter days, we are used to talking about miracles. For a shelter, a miracle happens when an animal recovers, starts eating on its own, takes its first steps after surgery, and no longer suffers from pain.

It is for such miracles that the Animal House Rescue shelter fights every day for every fragile life — for evacuated animals from the frontline, sick or injured animals that require treatment, special care, and isolation from others. However, the shelter’s current facilities do not meet the sanitary and technical requirements for full-fledged veterinary care.

That’s why we launched a fundraiser for 320,000 UAH (~$7 584,66) to purchase and deliver a medical trailer to the Animal House Rescue shelter.

The trailer will be 6 × 3 meters in size. It will be a warm and bright space, divided into two zones — an office and a treatment area. It will have water, lighting, heating in winter, and a comfortable temperature in summer. The trailer will be equipped with a veterinary table, a refrigerator for medicines and vaccines, and cabinets for all necessary supplies.

Animals will receive care immediately, without having to travel dozens of kilometers to clinics. For weakened, injured, or post-operative animals, such travel wastes precious time.
