We are preparing for new evacuation missions in the Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, and Zaporizhzhia regions. We have hundreds of requests for help 💔

In frontline areas, animals wander through empty, shelled streets, remain locked inside abandoned homes, or are left tied up in yards. Some are noticed just in time by kind people, volunteers, or soldiers who immediately reach out to us for help.

Most animals we evacuate suffer from illnesses, injuries, concussions, infections, exhaustion, and severe stress. That’s why, right after each mission, we take them straight to veterinary clinics. Only after they recover do we transfer them to shelters or families.

To plan the upcoming missions, we need your support. We have launched a fundraiser for 800 000 UAH (~$18 926). It’s a significant amount, but it will allow us to carry out eight evacuation trips and save more than 250 abandoned animals. These funds will go toward fuel for evacuation vehicles; food and lodging for the team; and essential supplies — food, hay, straw, pads, crates, carriers, and more.

Your donations will also allow us to treat the animals we rescue: cover examinations, hospital stays, tests, diagnostics, sterilizations, and purchase tests, medications, and calming treatments.

Here are a few stories of animals we will be able to help thanks to you ⬇️

🩹 Three dogs from the Donetsk region were left behind after a strike hit their home, forcing the family to evacuate. One of the dogs suffered a concussion, and all three now urgently need care and treatment.

🩹 Polkan — a dog from the village of Svitle in the Donetsk region. Soldiers handed him over to volunteers during an evacuation. His leg hurt, and everyone assumed it was a fracture. He was brought to Kyiv, where volunteers reached out to us. During the examination at the clinic, bullets were found in his leg. One was quickly removed, but the others are lodged deeper and require surgery.

🩹 In the Mykolaiv region, soldiers were caring for nine puppies and two adult dogs. At our request, volunteer Ruslana Kulbida evacuated them to the New World Kryvyi Rih shelter. Once there, the puppies suddenly fell gravely ill — vomiting and diarrhea began. Four died within hours. The rest were rushed to a clinic in Kryvyi Rih. One more died on the way, and two more passed away at the clinic. Their lives were taken by enteritis — a severe viral intestinal inflammation often caused by parvovirus. Only two puppies survived; under the close care of veterinarians, they are slowly recovering.

Please support this fundraiser — together, we can save hundreds of animals who are waiting for help right now.
