Fundraiser for field kitchens for two shelters

Over 800 cats and dogs live at Kitskin Dim Mokri Nosy shelter in Poltava and Sumy Animal Home shelter in Sumy. Most of them are strays or animals abandoned by their owners, including those evacuated from frontline settlements.

To feed such a large number of animals, volunteers prepare hot meals daily in large pots. But they have to do this in makeshift kitchens.

For example, at Sumy Animal Home shelter, which cares for over 500 dogs, they say they currently cook food on five potbelly stoves, boiling about 50 liters of porridge each. This is far from sufficient. Since they can only cook five pots at a time, part of the food has to be cooked separately. Because of this, they have to stand by the fire for hours to feed all the animals.

To make this process easier and be able to cook significantly more food at once, we want to purchase two 300-liter field kitchens and deliver them to the shelters:

A field kitchen is a large cauldron with a built-in wood-burning stove. The fire in the stove heats the cauldron, so hundreds of portions of hot food can be prepared at once without relying on electricity.

Donate any comfortable amount so that hundreds of animals can have warm, nutritious food every day, and volunteers can spend more time caring for them.
