Fundraiser for food and anti-parasite treatment for animals under soldiers’ care

Help us provide food and essential anti-parasite treatments for animals under Ukrainian soldiers’ care.

In frontline regions across Ukraine, soldiers often rescue abandoned cats and dogs, share their own food with them, set up safer places for them to sleep, provide medical care, and look after them despite the challenges of war.

Some of these animals were born near military positions, while others were evacuated from active combat zones by the soldiers themselves. Many eventually find new homes, but a large number of them continue to live alongside the soldiers.

Providing food and veterinary treatments for these animals is a significant challenge.

«Six to ten dogs and a few neighborhood cats come to eat. Other dogs, afraid of people, come at night. The situation in the village is critical; there are almost no civilians left,» — says soldier Kateryna, whom we supported during a previous fundraiser.

We want to support both the soldiers and the animals they care for. To do so, we aim to raise UAH 450,000 (≈$10,100).

These funds will be used to purchase and deliver pet food and anti-parasite treatments to soldiers who care for animals in Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv, Sumy, Chernihiv, and Mykolaiv regions.

Thanks to your donations to our previous fundraiser, we were able to provide food and veterinary treatments for more than 1,200 animals. Join us and help care for the cats and dogs who have found safety and companionship alongside the soldiers defending Ukraine’s freedom and independence.
