Fundraiser for Food and Treatments for Animals Cared for by Soldiers

Many animals remain in frontline areas. Often, it is the soldiers who rescue them, take them into their dugouts, huts, and temporary bases, and share their food supplies.

But animals need regular nutrition and protection from parasites. In field conditions, the risks of infection are much higher, so basic care is critically important.

For example, a soldier from the Zaporizhzhia direction shares a story about kittens living with her unit. Some of them, due to exhaustion, almost do not grow and remain very weak.

Another soldier from the Donetsk region says he has been caring for stray animals since 2016. The dogs he currently looks after were brought from the front line by the unit when they were still puppies. For ten months, the soldiers cooked porridge for them. But now the unit is changing positions, and it is no longer possible to prepare food for the animals.

Let’s help the animals under the care of soldiers at their positions and in frontline communities in the Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv, Sumy, Chernihiv, and Mykolaiv regions. We will deliver dry food and parasite treatments. To do this, we are raising UAH 271,000 (≈$6,414). We ask for your support. Every donation matters.

This fundraiser is part of our ongoing project to help animals cared for by soldiers, through which we are able to support at least 1,000 animals under the care of defenders each time.
