ABOUT THIS FUNDRAISER

Friends, we have just closed a major fundraiser of UAH 900,000 (~$21,400) for the evacuation and treatment of animals from front-line areas. But the number of requests for help is not decreasing. The front line is shifting, evacuations continue, and every day we receive new appeals to save and treat animals in urgent need. That is why we have opened the next fundraiser — so we can keep going and continue rescuing animals where help is needed right now.

Funds from this fundraiser will cover fuel for evacuation vehicles, as well as food and accommodation for the team. We will also purchase essential supplies needed to rescue animals — including pet food, hay, straw, pads, carriers, and other necessities.

In addition, we will pay for treatment for the rescued animals. Most of them require veterinary examinations, diagnostics, hospitalization, surgeries, vaccinations, sterilizations, viral disease testing, wound care, blood transfusions, ultrasound examinations, trauma treatment, and further rehabilitation — sometimes for weeks or even months.

For example, a puppy named Filia from Kherson now urgently needs surgery. During shelling, one of his legs was torn off, and the other had to be painstakingly reconstructed by doctors. The dog suffered burns, wounds, and necrosis, underwent several complex surgeries, an amputation, and blood transfusions — and survived.

Now Filia needs help again: due to the destruction of his hip joints, he faces two difficult surgeries, a long rehabilitation, and only then a chance at prosthetics. He has already been through far too much, and we cannot stop now.

To cover the surgeries, recovery, and future prosthesis, approximately UAH 120,000 (~$2,860) is needed. We truly want to give Filia a chance to live without pain.

Another dog in need of help is Tina. We evacuated her from Novoekonomichne in the Donetsk region in the summer of 2024. Tina was severely injured — beaten, with a head wound, cut paws, and a severed tail. After a long course of treatment, her wounds healed, and we took her to a shelter.

But the ordeal did not end there. Tina developed rectal prolapse and a flare-up of a chronic intestinal disease. This is a very serious condition that required surgeries, hospitalization, and long-term treatment. We have already covered the necessary veterinary procedures more than once.

Now Tina’s condition has worsened again: she is losing weight and urgently needs veterinary care, constant supervision, medication, and a special diet. We will cover her treatment and take her in to find a place where she can receive proper care.

We need to raise UAH 900,000 (~$21,400) to keep evacuating those who can still be saved, treating the injured, and giving animals a chance to live without suffering. This is a large amount, but together it is achievable.
