ABOUT THIS FUNDRAISER

«The front line is rapidly approaching, and even now, compared to a week ago, the city is impossible to recognize. It has become deserted, packs of dogs abandoned by their owners roam the streets. A few people still remain here and there as the number of destroyed houses has grown even more. It’s just like a horror movie,» says field videographer Kseniia about one of our evacuation trips to Dobropillia in the Donetsk region.

As the front moves closer, the number of abandoned and injured animals grows. There are so many requests to rescue animals that we schedule evacuation trips in advance. Still, there are always more requests than we can handle. On every trip, we save dozens of lives from the front line, regardless of species, breed, or size. However, to keep these missions running regularly, we need your support.

We have launched a fundraiser with the goal of raising 1 million hryvnias (22,831 dollars). Part of the funds will go toward evacuations expenses like fuel, food, accommodation for the team, and other travel expenses. Another portion of the funds will cover supplies such as food, hay, pads, cages, and carriers used to transport animals to clinics, shelters, or new homes.

The remaining funds will go toward treatment. Most animals evacuated by us or by volunteers suffer from injuries, infections, concussions, fractures, and severe exhaustion. Your donations help cover tests, diagnostics, surgeries, blood transfusions, wound care, vaccinations, sterilization, and rehabilitation. Everything these animals need to recover.

With your support, we will also cover the examination, surgery, and long-term hospitalization of a dog named Winnie-the-Pooh. He was evacuated from Druzhkivka by volunteers after being attacked by other dogs, resulting in a severe eye injury. Unfortunately, his eye could not be saved. Winnie-the-Pooh spent nearly a month in the clinic. When it was time to return him to his caretaker, she said she had left the country and could not take him back 💔

We will also cover the treatment of puppies Lotty and Mira. They were left in the yard of a soldier in Kramatorsk. The puppies were in critical condition with serious skin issues. At the soldier’s request, we evacuated them to a clinic in Dnipro. During examination, it was discovered that, in addition to dermatological problems, they also had parvoviral enteritis. Lotty and Mira are now receiving treatment in an infectious disease ward.

Countless animals remain in danger. Please, support their rescue.
