ABOUT THIS FUNDRAISER

Help us care for soldiers’ animals. These brave people look after cats and dogs between combat missions, under extraordinarily difficult conditions. We want to support them.

With the funds raised, we will cover examinations, tests, medication, vaccinations, sterilizations, surgeries, and inpatient care for wounded, injured or sick animals. This time, we need to raise UAH 680,000 (≈$15,100) to pay for veterinary assistance for the animals taken care of by soldiers across seven frontline regions: Kharkiv, Sumy, Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, and Mykolaiv.

This is our ninth fundraiser for soldiers’ animals, as they need this kind of help on a regular basis. Here are a few stories of animals we have helped thanks to your donations.

A soldier found a cat named Ururu in a destroyed house. The soldier reached out to us for help with an examination and sterilization. During the checkup, we detected Giardia, an infection that affects the digestive system. Ururu was treated, sterilized, vaccinated, microchipped, and returned to the soldier. We covered the treatment costs of UAH 25,351.50 ($574).

A dog named Frida was found by soldiers in the Dnipropetrovsk region. She had a severe injury that kept her from standing on her paw. The soldiers contacted us for help with transportation and treatment. At the clinic, the dog was diagnosed with a complex displaced fracture: the bone was shattered into several pieces. Frida underwent surgery and had a metal plate inserted. We paid UAH 81,424.90 ($1,844) to help the animal.

We want to respond to every request, and we can only do this together. Join us with a donation that feels right for you.
