Urgent Fundraiser for Critically Injured Dogs

Fundraiser is complete

ABOUT THIS FUNDRAISER

We are launching an urgent fundraiser to raise $7500 to cover the treatment of three injured dogs. Two were wounded due to Russian shelling, and one suffered severe burns from a fire at a shelter.

Serek, a dog wounded during yet another shelling of Kherson, needs $1250 for his treatment.

Serek was a pet dog until one morning, his owners took him to the market in Kherson and left him there, which the market workers witnessed.  Kind-hearted locals fed and protected him from street dogs. During another shelling of Kherson, Serek sustained shrapnel wounds. He was taken to several vets, but the city lacks the specialized care he needs: his wounds are not healing, and his condition is worsening.

Volunteers from the Tobias organization brought him to the Exvet clinic in Odesa. Now, Serek is under the care of Animal SOS Odesa. Once he recovers, he will be transferred to an adoption center, but first, he needs to recover.

Alpha’s treatment requires approximately $4500.

Alpha was severely injured in a fire at Olena Dzhyma’s shelter in Novoslobidka, Zaporizhzhia region. She is currently in critical condition, with her treatment adjusted daily due to the constantly changing state of her burns.

Initially, the doctors treated numerous lesions, cracks, and necrotic spots across her burned skin. Eventually, they operated to remove the affected skin sections. Now, their primary goal is to heal one large wound, which looks as daunting as it sounds.

Alpha still faces around 10 more skin grafts, along with a lengthy, complex treatment and rehabilitation process.

We recently funded surgery for Tato, a dog hit by a Russian drone. Volunteers from Tobias found the injured animal. Unfortunately, the Kherson clinic could not help due to the severity of his injuries. At first, Dad needed to be operated on. So we paid for the surgery in an Odesa clinic for $1,213.

After the operation, the dog was hospitalized under the supervision of doctors. The debt for postoperative care, treatment and rehabilitation now amounts to $1,480. We need to raise this amount to pay the bills for Dad’s treatment in full.

This was Tato when he was found. This is Tato after surgery

We ask you to join us in this fundraiser to help save lives that now need our support more than ever.
