ABOUT THIS FUNDRAISER

Thousands of animals are still waiting for our evacuation vehicle in the frontline regions. Please help us prepare for this mission. Our first stops are in the Donetsk and Dnipropetrovsk regions. More than fifty animals are waiting for our help there.

We’ve received many requests from soldiers. They take care of the animals near their positions, but when the situation becomes extremely dangerous, they ask us to move the animals to a safer place. For example, on our next trip, we need to pick up a dog with puppies. We were asked to do this by soldiers in the Dnipropetrovsk region. When the dog was hit by a car, the soldiers rescued her at a local medical station. The dog survived and nursed her puppies. The puppies have already been vaccinated and are ready for the evacuation.

We also have requests from civilians looking for a way to evacuate their animals. In particular, we will cover the fuel costs for the evacuation of a cow named Ryzhulia. The animal’s caretaker passed away, and his wife is unable to look after the cow. Since the frontline Sumy region is under constant shelling, the family decided to move Ryzhulia to a safer place. The animal will live in a shelter in the Poltava region, where volunteers will take care of her.

To continue traveling to frontline towns and villages to rescue animals, we need to raise UAH 850,000 (≈$20,000). Due to rising fuel costs, expenses for each trip have increased by 30%. As a result, every evacuation now costs significantly more than before.

This fundraiser will cover not only fuel for the evacuation vehicles but also the team’s basic needs during trips, including accommodation and food, as well as all necessary supplies for our work: food, hay, straw, diapers, cages, and carriers used to transport the animals. At the same time, the evacuation doesn’t end once the animal has been transported. 90% of the rescued animals require veterinary care, so we take them to clinics and pay for treatment, surgeries, vaccinations, and rehabilitation.

Thanks to your donations, we will be able to make at least five trips to frontline towns and villages, pay dozens of veterinary clinic bills, and transport rescued animals to shelters and new homes.

Please help us evacuate animals from the frontline regions. Every dollar you donate is a chance for an animal to get to a safer place.
