ABOUT THIS FUNDRAISER

Olena Taranchenko is forced to flee the war for the second time.
In 2022, she evacuated from the Kharkiv region together with her animals to the Odesa region, but later returned home.

However, the enemy has once again intensified shelling in the Kharkiv region. During one of the attacks on the city, a pig Olena cared for died of a heart attack. After that, Olena decided to evacuate again. She found a house in the Cherkasy region and asked for help transporting her animals there.

And there are many of them: 2 horses, 6 ponies, 15 pigs, 15 goats, 40 dogs, and birds.

Most of these animals came into Olena’s care during the full-scale war. People were fleeing and leaving their animals with her — this is how she ended up sheltering so many.

We want to help Olena, but we cannot manage without your support. We have opened a fundraiser to evacuate the animals and need to raise 46,923 UAH (≈$1,250).

These funds will cover fuel for the evacuation vehicle, transport crates, and the work of the rescue team.

Olena has taken in more than 80 animals left without owners.
