Urgent Fundraiser to Evacuate 42 Animals from the Kherson Region

An evacuation mission by UAnimals is underway right now in the Kherson region. Our team members, Danya Koval and Vlad Myachev, are evacuating animals at the request of both military personnel and civilians. They are set to rescue 12 dogs and 30 cats from the city of Kherson and villages in the Beryslav district.

Among them is an aggressive, shell-shocked German Shepherd. The dog has bitten soldiers, and they are asking us to evacuate her for rehabilitation and proper care.

We also need to evacuate five dogs from a woman whose home was hit by an enemy shell. The house was partially destroyed, and the owner herself broke her arm, leaving her unable to care for the animals.

The evacuated animals will be transported to Rivne, Ternopil, and Zakarpattia.

The mission is expected to last around five days. To make it happen, we need to raise 54,600 UAH (≈$1,450).

This amount will cover fuel, food, and accommodation for the team, 400 kilograms of pet food that will be delivered together with the animals to shelters, as well as unforeseen expenses on the road (vehicle repairs, emergencies, etc.).
