On 25 April, UAnimals bought a freezer that can hold up to 16 tonnes of meat for the Wild Animals Rescue Center by Natalia Popova & UAnimals. The freezer continues to operate autonomously in the absence of electricity supply using diesel fuel.
Previously, the meat needed to feed the predators undergoing treatment and rehabilitation at the Center was stored in small freezers. This was inconvenient, as the Rescue Center is home to eight adult lions, three teenage lions, three adult tigers and a leopard. Fifteen predatory cats consume more than one hundred kilograms of meat a day. Therefore, there was a problem with inconvenient storage and the need to constantly replenish stocks.
The new freezer has a capacity of 15 to 16 tonnes. Therefore, the staff of the Rescue Center will be able to make a stock that will last for almost six months and provide food for predators in any situation.
UAnimals is grateful for the support and donations that made it possible to purchase such necessary equipment for the Wild Animals Rescue Center!
