UAnimals invites everyone to join the fundraiser for mats that will help prevent animals from overheating during multi-day evacuation trips in the heat.
These mats do not require prior cooling, are lightweight, and non-toxic. They contain a gel that absorbs heat from the animal’s body and evenly distributes it throughout the mat. This prevents the mat from heating up significantly, providing a cooling effect for the animal.
UAnimals plans to raise 45,000 hryvnias to purchase 50 cooling mats. Rescuers will place these mats in carriers and cages used to evacuate animals from frontline areas.
