UAnimals turned 7 in March! Thanks to your support, we could save many animals and start a powerful movement for the rights of those who cannot protect themselves. In March, we actively continued to rescue animals from the war begun by russia.

For the amount of

8 865 983,55 UAH

we helped 17 921 animals for 8 865 983 hryvnias. This amount included financial assistance, payment for sterilizations, reconstruction of shelters, implementation of projects, purchase and shipment of fodder, logistics, purchase of medicines and treatment, evacuation, expenses for supporting wild animals of the Nataliya Popova and UAnimals Wild Animals Rescue Center, administrative costs and procurement of other things on request. 35 661 kilograms of fodder were shipped from our warehouse. In March, we provided food to 14 163 animals in 49 settlements. In addition, the following medicines were sent: solutions for injections, syringes, needles, diapers;

we sterilized 3 670 animals as part of our free sterilization program for homeless animals: 2 840 cats and 830 dogs. 11 field sterilizations were also carried out, and 8 cities and towns joined the program (Podilsk, Nova Dolyna, Tiachiv, Kolychivka, Kherson, Kramatorsk, Dnipro, Yuzhne);

our legal department sent 5 statements to the police regarding cruelty to animals, 2 appeals to the police and the Kyiv City State Administration, provided consultations on animal protection issues that came to the hotline, dealt with other statements, contracts, letters, and requests;

we sent 2 generators to Mykolaiv and Kharkiv Oblasts for shelters having 268 animals under their care;

we purchased and handed over vaccines, treatment preparations, antibiotics, and dressing materials for 1 469 animals to shelters and volunteers in Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, Irpin, towns of Donetsk, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, and Sumy Oblasts;

we helped to purchase feed and veterinary drugs for 1 673 animals in temporarily occupied Berdyansk, Nova Kakhovka, Oleshky, Prymorsk, and Melitopol;

we provided assistance to pay for the treatment of one evacuated cat from Kramatorsk, which was diagnosed with a rib fracture and a viral disease, as well as for four seriously ill evacuated animals from Kherson and Kostiantynivka;

we purchased and delivered 11 tons of oats for 20 horses of the Cavalcada Equestrian Club in Zaporizhzhia, accepted horses evacuated during the war;

we bought 940 kilograms of compound feed and grain mixtures for 200 wards of the Farmland Nyushanikove Bird Rescue Center in Kyiv Oblast;

we bought and handed over an anthelmintic drug for 180 horses at the Kharkiv Equestrian Farm;

we helped to purchase a surgical kit at the request of the Horses and Races Association Public Organization in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, having 189 horses and 28 foals under its care;

we helped to purchase a syringe and a starter kit for catching homeless animals for the Karlivka Public Organization in the Poltava Oblast;

we helped to buy fodder for 42 predators and 413 domestic animals in the temporarily occupied Berdyansk;

we purchased and handed over 3 tons of fodder for 37 horses, 5 goats, 18 cows, 25 calves, and 11 sheep under the care of the charity association “International Charitable Fund “Protection of Animals” in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast;

we purchased and handed over 50 kilograms of milk substitute for 8 goats and 2 young goats that had been evacuated from Kharkiv Oblast (the animals cannot feed themselves after the shelling and stress), a saltlick (two briquettes), and a bucket for watering the animals;

we purchased and delivered 30 tons of hay for 440 animals of the Dnipropetrovsk branch of the Vuhlyk shelter;

we supported the Kramatorsk Regional Landscape Park having 70 animals under its care (wild pigs, rabbits, donkeys, sheep, roe deer, spotted deer, foxes, peacocks, pheasants, and swans), and helped to purchase 4 013 kilograms of hay, 3 587 kilograms of wheat, 436 kilograms of oats that would be enough to feed animals for three months;

we supported the farm in the Izium district, having 22 cows and 5 calves under its care (2 cows and 2 calves were rescued from Bakhmut), and helped to buy hay, straw, grain, and cake for them;

174 animals were evacuated: 1 horse, 2 dogs, 3 puppies from Kherson, 33 animals from Donetsk Oblast, 3 goats, 2 dogs, 2 cats from Chasiv Yar, 1 dog with 2 puppies from Illinka, 2 cats from Kalynivka and 4 puppies from Sloviansk, as well as 5 cats and 1 dog from Kherson, 16 cats, 1 dog with 4 puppies, and 6 adult dogs from Chasiv Yar, 9 puppies from Kramatorsk, 1 puppy, and 1 cat with 4 kittens from Sloviansk and 1 injured shepherd from Bakhmut, 7 puppies from Druzhkivka and Kramatorsk, as well as 2 dogs and 1 cat from Avdiivka, 2 cats from Kurakhove, 10 cats and 1 dog from Toretsk, as well as 46 cats, 1 dog and 3 people from Kostyantynivka;

We transported 1 injured roe deer from the Volyn Oblast, which was transferred to the Natalya Popova and UAnimals Wild Animals Rehabilitation Center, 1 evacuated dog from Lyman to the Ternopil Oblast; took 16 cats from Transcarpathia and found a shelter for them in Kyiv;

320 000 hryvnias were transferred to the Kovcheh Public Organization in Makariv (870 animals) for the construction of a quarantine area;

we transferred the amount of 78 587 hryvnias for the repair of the fence and medicine of the Shans shelter in Zaporizhzhia (500 animals);

we transferred 146 216 hryvnias to the shelter of Svitlana Ostapkova in Myrnograd (236 animals) for the construction of 6 open-air cages;

we transferred the amount of 161 424 hryvnias for construction materials and 100 000 hryvnias for repair work to 107 animals of the Babyntsi shelter;

we transferred 24 144 hryvnias for 4 open-air cages for the Equestrian Sports Federation Public Organization in Mykolaiv Oblast (100 animals);

we transferred the Give Chance shelter in Sloviansk (400 animals) 99 921 hryvnias for building materials for open-air cages, 1 286 hryvnias for two electric stoves, and 16 520 hryvnias for a refrigerator and convector;

we transferred Kachan Olena from Kramatorsk 10 172 hryvnias for 3 dog kennels;

we assisted with the Fatum shelter in Bashtanka (500 animals) for medicines – 32 290 hryvnias, for 2 boxes for transporting animals – 13 452 hryvnias, for 6 cubes of firewood – 13 200 hryvnias, for a convector – 2 271 hryvnias, for cages for animals – 13 850 hryvnias;

we helped the Friend Rehabilitation Center in Dnipro (980 animals): transferred 23 859 hryvnias for food and 42 202 hryvnias for medicines;

we supported the Green Forest Eco-Farm (925 animals): paid for 2 700 liters of fuel for a generator and 812 bales of hay for the amount of 236 650 hryvnias;

we helped the Favorite Animals Public Organization in Kamiansk (500 animals) to buy quarantine boxes for the amount of 56 000 hryvnias and vaccines for 15 300 hryvnias;

52 500 hryvnias were transferred for quarantine boxes for the utility company of the Kramatorsk Town Council;

● we transferred the amount of 13 440 hryvnias for 140 rabies vaccines for the animals of Halyna Hryshchenko in Zaporizhzhia;

we supported 1 139 animals of Kharkiv Oblast cared for by Andriy Kondratiuk and transferred 44 069 hryvnias for medicines and treatments for homeless animals;

we sold another 353 pairs of Dodosocks socks;

we received fodder from Josera — 2 886 kilograms;

we received 20 thousand kilograms of fodder from DDAO.
