Report for 2023

We are proud of each number and achievement, which results from the enormous daily work of the UAnimals team, the involvement of hundreds of volunteers, the support of partners, and the donations of 140,000 Ukrainians and people from abroad.
The results of UAnimals’ work are the achievements of a whole community of people who believe in the value of every life and make society more humane towards every living creature. And I am confident that you, who are reading this report, are part of our community. I am glad to see that!


In 2023, we helped 248,000 animals, including wildlife, domestic animals and pets. We sterilised more than 29,000 animals in the frontline regions and evacuated more than two thousand animals from the frontline: dogs, cats, horses, donkeys, goats… I will list only some numbers and directions – you’ll have to read the report.


We aim to make humanity towards animals and the environment the norm and foundation of Ukrainian society. This is not just a dream but a goal that we can achieve by breaking it down into smaller and more realistic tasks. This is exactly what we did in 2023 and will continue to do in 2024. But one thing is for sure: we are making progress! I am inspired by this feeling and will pass on my inspiration to you!
