The winner of “The Voice of Ukraine” Mariya Kvitka sang in a shirt from the Animalism charity store

Mariya Kvitka performed the folk song “Ya Ptychka Nevelychka” wearing clothes from Animalism’s summer collection. In one shot, she is seen in a T-shirt with a slightly altered saying “It’s never late to G.O.A.T.,” and in another, in an embroidered shirt featuring outlines of domestic animals.

“Sometimes I close my eyes and transport myself back to my childhood. A summer evening in the village, warm air, and my grandmother’s singing…” wrote the singer.

Mariya Kvitka is a true connoisseur of fine clothing. She was a co-founder and director of the Ukrainian Institute of Fashion History. She worked as a costume designer, for instance, in the films “Black Raven” and “Pamfir.” Mariya also participated in numerous projects that popularize traditional Ukrainian attire, and as part of the “Free” project, she collected authentic clothing from the 19th-20th centuries.

Besides Mariya Kvitka’s outfit from the video, Animalism’s summer collection also includes the T-shirt “Lost Among Three Cows” and various accessories. All these items are dedicated to childhood in the village.

Previously, Animalism released a collection featuring images of endangered species and animals waiting for their owners to return from captivity.

Money from the items sold in the store goes to support the activities of the UAnimals charity fund, which rescues animals from the war.
