UAnimals receive an award from Nova Poshta for the largest number of shipments for animals

On February 22, Nova Poshta awarded volunteers and charitable organizations with the Worthy prize. UAnimals was awarded in the category of “The Largest Number of Shipments to Aid Animals.”

Sending packages during the war is facilitated by Nova Poshta Humanitarian: thanks to this service, volunteers have been sending aid since 2014 at the carrier’s expense. Nova Poshta Humanitarian calculated that the largest number of shipments for animals in a year came from UAnimals. Overall, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the organization has sent 929 tons of pet food to shelters and animal volunteers .

“It’s an honor to stand on this stage surrounded by incredible people and feel the powerful and yet tender force of our amazing country’s volunteer community. We are all in the same boat, and together we are moving towards victory,” said Nina Neronova, UAnimals evacuation manager, at the award ceremony.

In addition to UAnimals, 18 other organizations and foundations were recognized for the number of shipments. Furthermore, philanthropists were awarded in 6 categories: Creative Communications, Technological and Digital, Leader of the Fund/Organization, Rescue and Evacuation, Youngest Volunteer, and Oldest Volunteer. Nominees for the awards were selected by volunteers on the Nova Poshta website.

“Ukrainian volunteers are people of powerful action who, under any circumstances, respond to the requests for assistance from both military and civilians,” says Inna Popereshniuk, co-founder of Nova Poshta. “With the ‘Worthy’ award, we thank them for their strength and resilience, as well as for their daily titanic work. Because they are truly worthy of it!”
