This Saturday, volunteers from the UAnimals community helped tidy up 8 animal shelters in Ukraine. They cleaned up the Hostomel shelter in the Kyiv region, the Dvornyazhkam Dim and Patron shelters in Kyiv, the Home Where Love Lives shelter in Mykolaiv, the Rudyi Pes shelter in Ivano-Frankivsk, Lapusyk in Odesa, Planeta in Vinnytsia, and the Shelter for Homeless Animals in Kharkiv.
70 volunteers swept the area around the shelters, washed cages, bowls, windows, worked in warehouses with food, carried firewood and houses for animals. After work, some volunteers took the dogs for a walk, while others stayed to socialize with the cats.
